This page explains what personal data danielhristov.com collects, why, who helps me process it, and how long I keep it. The site and the coaching are run by Daniel Hristov (“I”, “me”). If you have any questions, email me at info@danielhristov.com with the subject line GDPR.

1. What I collect

When you apply for coaching:

  • your first and last name, age, gender, country, email address, phone number and Instagram account
  • how you found me
  • your answers about your goals, your current strength level, your biggest problem right now and any online coaching you’ve had before
  • your answer about injuries

If you say you are under 18, the form stops there. Your answers are not sent to me and not stored. The same goes if you fill in the application but don’t book a call: your answers only reach me once your call is booked.

When you book a call:

  • the time you pick and your time zone. I create an event in my Google Calendar with a Google Meet link and add your email address as a guest, and Google emails you a calendar invite.

When you use the contact form:

  • your name, email address and your message.

When you visit the site:

  • my hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, your browser and the page you asked for, so the site can load and stay secure.

2. Injury information is health data

What you write about injuries counts as health data under the GDPR. I only store it if you tick the consent box in the application, and I only use it to plan your training around your injuries. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing me, and I will delete it.

3. Why I use your data

WhatWhyLegal basis (GDPR)
Your applicationTo review it, prepare our call and decide if we work togetherSteps before a contract, Art. 6(1)(b)
Your injury informationTo plan your training safelyYour explicit consent, Art. 9(2)(a)
Your bookingTo schedule the call, send the confirmation and the remindersSteps before a contract, Art. 6(1)(b)

Technical dataTo run the site and protect it from abuseLegitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)

I don’t sell your data, I don’t use it for advertising, and I don’t add you to a newsletter. The only emails you get from me after applying are about your application and your call.

4. Who processes your data for me

ServiceWhat it does
Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Meet, Google Sheets)Receives your application, stores it, holds the calendar event and runs the video call
ResendSends the emails about your application and your call: the copy of your application that comes to me, your booking confirmation and the reminders. It also delivers contact form messages to me.
VercelHosts the website and runs the application and booking forms

Vercel and Resend are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. Both use the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers, as set out in their data processing terms.

Access to your data is limited to me, the people who help me run the site and the coaching, and the services above.

5. How long I keep it

  • Applications and bookings: if we don’t start working together, I delete your application and the calendar event 12 months after our call. If you become a client, I keep it while I coach you and delete it 12 months after the coaching ends.
  • Contact form messages: 12 months after my last reply.
  • You can ask me to delete your data earlier at any time.

6. Cookies and browser storage

This site doesn’t set advertising or analytics cookies. Some pages have YouTube videos. They only load when you press play, and then YouTube can set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. While you fill in the application, your answers are saved in your own browser for that tab only, so a page refresh doesn’t wipe them. They are removed when you book your call or close the tab.

7. Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of your data, ask me to correct it or delete it, object to how I use it or ask me to limit it, and ask for it in a format you can take elsewhere. You can withdraw your consent at any time; that doesn’t affect what I did with it before. Email info@danielhristov.com with the subject line GDPR.

If you think I handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg/en) or to the data protection authority where you live.

8. Changes

I update this page when something changes. Last updated: 21 September 2026.
